Efficient Chimeric Mouse Production Using a Novel Embryonic Stem Cell LIne
Researchers need an embryonic stem cell line that is able to participate in the formation of chimeric animals even after prolonged cultivation in vitro. A novel DGES1 embryonic stem cell line was demonstrated to efficiently produce transgenic mouse using the B6D2F1 blastocysts and CD-1 recipients. Mice were housed in Optimice cages.
