Combined Effects of Individual Culture and Atmospheric Oxygen on Preimplantation Mouse Embryos in Vitro

Atmospheric oxygen and individual culture are standard embryo culture conditions, the effect of combining them when investigated shows that cleavage timings, hatching rates and blastocyst cell numbers were reduced by either individual culture or atmospheric oxygen. Mice were housed in Optimice cages. Keywords: Transgenic, Genetics, Cell Culture, Culture media, Embryology, Preimplanation, mouse embryo group culture, IVF, oxidative stress, Optimice, mice, mouse
