Warranty Terms Overview
All Optimice®, Optirat®, Optirat® GenII, Optirat® Plus, M.I.C.E.®, and Ergomice® systems and components are designed to be sanitized and sterilized. All Animal Care Systems products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years from the date of original shipment; please note that electrical components are exempted from the 5-year warranty. All electrical components are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year.
This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts if parts are used in accordance with manufacturer-recommended standard operating procedures. Working outside these parameters will void the warranty. To obtain the latest version of the recommended procedures, please contact your sales representative or Animal Care Systems directly at info@animalcaresystems.com.
- This warranty does not cover single-use caging or parts supplied by third-party companies such as Edstrom, SE Lab Group, and Quatro Air Technologies.
- This warranty does not cover maintenance items such as cage filters.
- The customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from Animal Care Systems for all out-of-warranty items.
